Playfulness is one of the first casualties of a busy life. When our life consists of nothing but working, paying bills, cleaning and sleeping, play can disappear quickly leaving us tired, beaten and without interest. We must keep play alive in our lives by getting in touch with what we find joy in.
We can be silly, we can poke fun at ourselves and we don’t always have to follow the road best traveled. In fact these exact abilities have been shown to make us more resilient and connected the more we engage in them – especially when we involve others willingly in our silly antics!
Play has a way of turning conflicts into peaceful exchanges, it has a way of making us smile not only outwardly but inwardly has well and what other activity can boast that! So today incorporate a little play into your life, after all Play is the beginning of knowledge!
Peace and Love, Jim
