The Blame Game

What if there were a simple idea that could change your life and strengthen every relationship you’re in? Now what if I said there is such and idea? It not an easy one, but it is empowering – Stop blaming and making excuses-period.

When we blame we become victims. We give up our power and essentially say we are helpless to direct our experiences. This may momentarily lessen our guilt or responsibility, but ultimately it drains our motivation and limits our potential.

If we want to create a life filled with happiness, fulfillment and success, we must start taking responsibility and ask our self how we can do better. We can start by identifying the actions we can take to create our desired outcomes. It may feel a little uncomfortable at first but with practice it begins to feel empowering! So give it a try and experience more of your potential!

Identify the situations where you blame others or make excuses.
Look at what you can have do to create more positive outcomes and make a list of ideas.
Experiment with your ideas and keep refining until you get the results you want.
Pay attention to when you slip back into blaming or making excuses. The repeat.

As you go forth today remember that authentic empowerment is knowing that you are on purpose, doing your best, peacefully and harmoniously.

Peace and Love, Jim
