Expansion

Within everyone there is latent potential waiting to be unlocked. The key to freeing this energy is to allow the mind to become more flexible than it is currently, to think a different way, to wear another hat and walk in a different pair of shoes.

It has been estimated that at any given time we only use between 10% and 15% of our mental capacity. The primary reason for this under utilization of resources is that we tend to fall into a rut with our processes. In other words we tend to always think the same way, putting thoughts together in the same sequence. If we want to really charge our selves up we must break out of our habits. conditioned responses and business-as-usual ways. We must seek out methods of expanding our mind and it’s processes (in healthy ways of course!) – this has a remarkable way of accelerating our potential!

Life calls for so much more than our use of structured, sequential thought (the same processes used for reading, writing or arithmetic). In fact it calls for all facets of thinking and creativity – the logical, illogical and lateral processes and exercises that stimulate many parts of the brain including the right side which is considered to be the seat of insight!

So today break out of the humdrum, think new thoughts in new ways and reach for the horizons of what you know. The brightest most stimulating words one can ask are “what if?”
