Hold on to yourself and your beliefs, you are the only sure constant in your life. People may come and go, but you will always have yourself. So hang in there, take good care of your soul and your thoughts, invest time and patience into knowing who you really are. No one else can do that for you.

Hold on to what makes you feel good inside and find a way to bring into your life every day.

Hold on to hope, since the future is unknown, there will always be a chance it will bring happiness. When nothing is sure yet, everything is still possible.

Hold on to the people that were always there for you, good friends are  a very precious gift.

Let go of the past because you can’t change it. Only bring the lessons with you. All the rest is like carrying around a heavy suitcase you can’t open anymore.

Let go of the need to control everything. Luckily we can’t. It would be such a big responsibility to be in charge of other people’s happiness; having all that power would be a burden. You can only decide how YOU want to feel.Let others do the same.

Let go of toxic people, unhealthy relations and all those things that give you a “bad feeling”. If we listen carefully enough, we all know what’s best for us.

So, like children playing on monkey bars, we hold on to one thing until it’s time to let go and move forward to the next.

Let’s not forget to have some fun while we do it, learn along the way and grow for another day.

Peace and Love, Jim
