Joy, giving, family, and peace – people of all faiths can celebrate these values of the holiday season.
Traditions can give us a wonderful moment of space during the holidays regardless of faith. We can align our hearts with the mysteries of the season (such powerful times – Hanukkah, Bodhi Day, the Feast of the Immaculate Conception, Christmas Day, the solstice, etc.).
Regardless of what you celebrate at the season, it seems to universally create a little more willingness to love, to welcome a stranger, to share and slow down enough to appreciate our blessings. This is almost magic, a spirit of being that is absolutely worth celebrating.
Peace and Love, Jim
