Do you feel like something is holding you back from moving forward in life, but you don’t know what it is?

You are not alone. Everyone gets stuck in a rut at some point in their lives. Even the most successful people in the world feel unmotivated and confused, from time to time. There are times in life when the thing that we want most may seem so out of our reach, that no matter what we do, we just can’t seem to grasp it.

Expecting Things To Come Easy – Goals don’t exist to be easy. Anything of value requires hard work, dedication, sacrifice, and discipline. If you are waiting for success to magically show up, think again. How can you possibly know what your limits are if you never take the chance to test them?

Living In The Past – If you live based on “would’s, could’s, and should’s”, you won’t be moving forward in life. Regret is an ugly beast. You can’t go back and change the past, so why bother continuing to live there? If you live in the past, you will fail to see all of the amazing opportunities that are presenting themselves to you. If you dwell on “what was” you will never be able to envision “what could be.” Oftentimes we are our own worst enemies.

Waiting For The Perfect Moment – In a constantly changing world, you can’t rely on the perfect moment. If opportunities present themselves, you need to take advantage of them, or else they will pass you by. Be present, in the here and now. Moving forward in life requires that you take today and make it perfect because tomorrow provides no guarantees.

Doubting Your Awesomeness – Don’t let conditioned beliefs and false judgments dim your light and tell you that you aren’t good enough. If you want to step into your power, commit to moving forward with confidence. If you find it difficult at first, try acting as if you already possess the confidence you aspire to have.

If you aren’t moving forward, you are moving backwards or not moving at all. – Moving forward is a choice. Make decisions that will propel you forward, no matter how many obstacles life throws at you. If you take the time to consciously start shifting these behaviors and adopting new habits that serve your higher self, you will transform your life.

We all get stuck in a rut from time to time, but it’s up to you whether or not you want to stew in it or take action to rise above it. Which choice will you make? Commit to mastery.

Peace and Love, Jim
