I often speak, write and share on the topic of enthusiasm. Why would a guy and a blog mostly about Buddhism, presence and wisdom talk about and encourage so much on the topic of enthusiasm?

Well I simply feel that life will hand us many concepts, struggles, beautiful moments and  some that simply can’t be described, only felt. In each of these cases, large and small what we need typically without fail is enthusiasm. I can really find fault in my efforts regardless of what they may be when I am willing to to take it on, to see our way through the hard and the easy moments with understanding and enthusiasm. No matter how healthy, intelligent or affluent we may be, if our minds are not ehtusyisatically engaged, then our happiness will be frail and brittle. Our enthusiastic and motivated mindset, moreover, enable us to bring out the full potential in all things and situations, so it is crucial that we strive to forge our minds with a certain degree of enthusiasm.

Plant your enthusiasm and protect it from negativity and fear. Do not sit idle in your garden for fear of nothing growing. Do what you can with your seeds of enthusiasm. You will be surprised at what “little” seeds of action can do for your world.

Peace and Love, Jim
