We must learn to reawaken and keep ourselves awake, not by mechanical aid, but by an infinite expectation of the dawn. – Henry David Thoreau

Our goal should be to develop a mind which clings to nothing.  We far too often grasp at things to the point that when we finally get hold of something we fear letting it go.

So let us not cling.

When there is no clinging there is no condemning, no expectations of how things should be. Our mind can become clear and balanced and from this point we cease to expect and instead embrace
