Face of Wisdom. . .
When we compare ourselves to others, we tend to look up…to compare ourselves to someone who is doing better than we are. This only serves to makes us feel bad about ourselves instead of motivate us on the journey of our steps forward. It takes time and practice, but weslowly learn to play our own game, walk our own line and stop worrying about what everyone else is doing – You are uniquely you with your own points and energies. And that’s enough. One of the hardest things about being an independent writer is learning how to run a business. It’s tough work, and I still have so much to learn. But that’s the only thing I can do — learn, grow, develop, increase my knowledge so that I can reach and aid more people.
When I started this writing journey, I made the commitment to be in it for the long haul. I didn’t want to be a one-hit wonder. I wanted to turn my passion into a meanigful resource. Some days it’s really hard. Other days it’s the easiest thing in the world. Every day I remind myself that I want to stay in the room. I want to be that person who sticks it out even when I want to quit. Because I love writing, and in the long run I will never regret my determination. People much like writing are layered. We all should work on the skeleton and it’s rough, raw and bony structures. Without this foundation we have little to build upon. So our job is to try. It’s to be here with love and to create a story that will eventually be the kind of inspiration and understanding that we all can access. Its in you, Its in me, its inspiration and that is the force for moving forward no matter where we come from of what we face and that is the face of wisdom.
