My Friend. . .
You have a friend and their love for you goes deep. There is nothing they can give you which you don’t already own, but there is much, very much, that, while it cannot be given, can be freely taken.
There are no proverbial heavens available to us unless our hearts find peace and love in today. The gloom of the world is but a reflection. Behind it, looming within our reach is that which we seek. There is beauty and grace in the darkness if we can shed our fears and look into it – to see we have only to look.
Life is very generous and takes nothing that was not its to begin with. We need to see beyond life wrappings, judging the gifts by their wrappings and presentations. Much like the lying mirror we simply need to remove the coverings discover a living magic, woven of love, by wisdom, with energy.
Welcome it, grasp it, touch the fear and beauty available to you. Everything we call a trial, a sorrow, or a duty, is a gift disguised and awaiting to be opened. Our joys lie just beneath the wrappings, just behind the mirrors.
Courage, then, means to step forward and accept that which is felt but just out of viewt, to awaken. You will not find the courage you need, you must work with courage you have, and the knowledge that we are all pilgrims on a journey, walking through unknown worlds, seeking a home unseen – awakening to the home within.
And so, today my friend, I greet you. Not with hellos or hugs, but with profound understanding and the knowledge that for you now and forever, the day breaks, and the mirrors, fears and darkness will be lifted by your own eyes, your own courage and your own light.
Peace and Love, Jim
