The world is a depressing place if you look for depressing things. The world is a beautiful place if you look for beautiful things. The criterion of true beauty is that it increases on examination; so seek beauty, strength, compassion and more, not just to find them but to embrace them and learn how to be them. We can never understand much less be that which we only choose to see with limited perceptions and limited hearts.
